Indian Student Placment at IMAG

Intern Vanessa Fernandes from India has recently completed a six-month placement at the museum. She has improved our exhibition by creating new ‘drawer displays’ on the varied topics of Highland snuff-taking and a hoard of Bronze Age axeheads found at Dail na Caraidh near Fort William. She has also sorted and listed a collection of bagpiping material from the workshop of Torquil MacLeod in Tain. She has now returned to her family in India while she waits for the results of her MA in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester. Thank you, Vanessa!
